Where are we ?
> ALASKA, USA, MEXICO At the moment we are in the far north of Canada working on a radio series for Radio France on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first French in Canada. To commemorate this, we will cross the entire country – a tour of more than 20,000 kilometers from Vancouver and the Scotland News to the Yukon and the prairie, and from the Great Lakes to the far reaches of the Maritimes… After crossing the US border in Arizona, we head south towards the Colonial Heartland of Mexico. Past saguaro cacti, open high plateaus, and ghost towns, we finally arrive in Zacatecas, a colonial town that once supplied more than 20% of Nueva Espana’s silver. San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato are next, both charming, both colorful, and we spend our days walking amidst the tree-lined plazas filled with artisans, the scent of bougainvillea filling the air…
